Introduction: The growing population of patients with chronic cardiovascular disease has many complex biomedical and psychosocial needs and requires an integrated teamwork approach. The aim of this cross-sectional study was to analyze selected variables differentiating rural from urban populations, as well as identify potentially increased levels of depression and anxiety in patients with chronic cardiovascular disease.
